T-Mobile’s Sidekick 4G, G2x and G-Slate Tablet Hit Stores Today

Looking at the recent spate of news, it sure does seem like a good time to be a T-Mobile customer. Today, a troika of Android goodies is hitting Magenta, namely the Froyo-packing G2x and Sidekick 4G smartphones, plus the G-Slate, the second Honeycomb-sporting tablet to hit the market.

T-Mobile Sidekick 4G (by Samsung) Specs

  • 3.5 inch 480 x 800 display
  • microSD, 2GB included (supports up to 32GB)
  • 1GHz Hummingbird processor
  • Front VGA cam, and rear 3MP camera
  • Android 2.2, Froyo
  • Sidekick-style tilting hardware QWERTY keyboard (but no swivel)
  • Two price points: $99.99 (after $50 MIR) with 2-yr contract and unlimited data plan, or $149.99 for contract plus lower end data plan
